Martin is married to Margaret and they have nine children: Ruth is married to Andrew; Joseph, Anna, Samuel, Rebekah, Luke, Faith, Matthias and Benjamin. They have lived in Teesside all their lives.
Martin and Margaret came to Christ through the Charismatic renewal in the early 80's. They have led and worked in local churches up until 2006 when God called Martin into an Itinerant cross denominational ministry as an Evangelist. Martin and Margaret began by leading a Youth Fellowship called Unity Fellowship which developed into a church in the mid 80's in Middlesbrough. This group came together with Saint Aidan's Fellowship where Martin worked for 5 years. Martin and Margaret attended King's Bible College in Scotland and then Martin worked as an Evangelist on the staff of Emmanuel Fellowship in Eaglescliffe for the next 15 years. Martin and his team travel to many different nations preaching the Gospel and encouraging churches. He visits / visiting India, Africa, Kazakhstan, Sardinia, Spain, France, Estonia, Italy, Russia, the Philippines and others. In the UK at the moment he is focusing on four day missions based primarily in Teesside while still preaching in churches across the country. |
